About Allergies & Sensitivities

While we tend to think of seasonal allergies as a spring event, many people also have allergies in winter. Allergy symptoms include sneezing, coughing, sinus problems, skin rashes, and digestive pain. Typical Food sensitivity symptoms

include gas, bloating, constipation and diarrhea. Many people are surprised to find that skin rashes and chronic headaches are also food sensitivity symptoms. A ‘true allergy’ test identifies specific antigens, but there is no biomarker method for food sensitivity testing.  Some people find improvement with a food sensitivity diet, while others don’t because they have not been able to identify which foods they are sensitive to. To be effective, treatment must include identifying what foods you are sensitive to. Learn more about identifying and treating food intolerances and sensitivities in the above articles.
